Answering Your ?'s
How does Party on Tap work?
Party on Tap is a dry hire mobile bar service. That means you provide the alcohol, and we provide everything else — the tap trailer, bartenders, mixers, soda, water, ice, bar tools, and professional service.
We handle setup and breakdown so you can relax and enjoy your event.
Do you provide alcohol?
No. Due to New Jersey and Pennsylvania alcohol laws, we operate as a dry hire service. Clients are responsible for purchasing and supplying all alcoholic beverages.
We’re happy to help you calculate quantities and recommend local distributors.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve:
South Jersey
Central New Jersey
Bucks County, PA
Events outside these areas may be accommodated for an additional travel fee.
Are you insured?
Yes. Party on Tap carries general liability insurance. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance (COI), we can provide one upon request.
For private property events, we may recommend that hosts obtain event insurance as well.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our tap trailer is ideal for events ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations.
We typically service:
-
25–150 guests comfortably
-
Larger events may require additional staff or service time
We’ll help you determine the best package based on guest count.
How much alcohol should I buy?
Don’t worry — we help with that.
After booking, we provide a customized alcohol quantity guide based on:
-
Guest count
-
Event duration
-
Beverage selections
This ensures you don’t overspend or run short.
Do you provide non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes! All packages include a non-alcoholic beverage selection such as soda, water, and mixers.
We also offer:
-
Dirty Soda Bar add-on
-
Mocktail options
-
Kids-only soda party packages
What power do you require?
Our trailer can run:
-
Via standard household outlet
OR
-
Generator (available as an add-on)
We’ll confirm power needs during your planning call.
Do you need water access?
No. We bring our own water supply and bar equipment.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak season (May–October in NJ & PA) books quickly — especially Saturdays.
We recommend booking:
-
3–6 months in advance for weddings
-
1–3 months in advance for private parties
Last-minute availability may be possible depending on date.
What is required to secure our date?
To officially reserve your event date:
-
Signed service agreement
-
Non-refundable deposit
Your date is not held until both are received.
